I read your new book, “The Diversity Delusion” a few days ago, and was profoundly impressed with your diction, command of the beautiful English language, which has been under a dumbed-down assault for many decades…  Thank You, for your untethered and robust expression of our Latin/Greek via English based prose, in a form, that I would almost call poetic to read, however far more germane to the subjects of Racism, Sexism and the Ballooning Diversity Bureaucracy – removing funds from Real Academics…

Your integrity, is of the purest form I have longed to read…

I am 69 years old and your book is what I believe with all my heart is a gift of intellect and goodwill toward everyone of us.

That we are at a potential turning point in our Social Contract in America, to try and live up to the ideals of the Declaration of Independence, our U.S. Preamble and Constitution and the Bill of Rights.  Certainly, it has been a long and often corrupt road to travel, doing so…  But our Founders written ideals remain, and we will forever improve on them if we do not neglect to use our “Common Sense” and not acquiesce to tyranny in all of its blatant and subtle forms via certain self-serving Politicians, Media, Business and Academia’s flawed disavowed dedication to Integrity.  Thoughtful Dissident’s of Thought is Essential to our Democratic-Republic – but Monolithic thoughtless forced thinking is “Dangerous” in my opinion currently dismantling our Great Country, our brilliant documents, written by our Founders, and is a disgrace to Goodness, by any measure…

In the following I will summarize your book for myself, and I hope you find it thoughtful and correct, along with using many of your own words, in expressing myself…

Today, as you point out, and I have experienced in my corporate background, that we are besieged in our higher learning institutions and corporations to accept notions of racism and sexism as so-called “Implicit Bias”, which was a simple phrase from a document written in 1998.  But it has the attention of the “Do-Gooders” to gain traction with financial gain, and self-serving gratuitous mental value, for they know better than others, or any truth to be told otherwise…  This is the self-serving industry of Diversity Training, without cognitive validity, or empirical data.  It is a new Invented Social Science that gives birth to bureaucratic jobs, and good people!!! But ironically deposes anyone with a differing or “Diverse Point’s of View”.  Hypocritical to be certain, Ironic in purity…

Also enter the word “microaggression”.  A relatively “new PC phrase”  that suggests anything said or even kindly touching a person, that is disagreeable to a minority or the opposite sex, could be viewed as racist or sexist, and create a harmful environment.  HOGWASH However…  A Fiction as you so well point out…

• I passionately believe the view of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. today, would by empirical fact be of a man who held an “Implicit Bias”, and was guilty of a so-called microaggression ideology.  HOGWASH – Again – However…  Dr. King, defined all of this Politically Correct Jargon, as a violent corruption of the “Content of our Character.”  NEVER EVER MISTAKE DR. KING’S CHARACTER ON THIS ISSUE…

However according to the New “Bureaucratic Diversity Ideology”, Dr. King would be convicted of (microaggression/Implicit Bias), because he would use language that offended people on Universities and other venues, such as: His statement that “He only sees faces not of “Race”, but only of the “Hunan Race”, or that he did not believe in “White Power” or “Black Power” but only “Human Power” as this would be in a contrary disposition to the segregated  “BLM” nomenclature, which I certainly believe as do others of good and decent caring hearts and minds. such as Muhammad Ali Jr., of whom recently said, [Paraphrasing] that All Lives Matter, not only Black Lives Matter.  Such BLM phrases dangerously beckon back to segregationists / if not a loosely defined racism itself, and quite literally for myself, are taking us backwards regarding ubiquitous Civil Rights for All.

Dr. King would never ever support, such harmful, destructive and unloving divisive ideological terms, that divide, rather than unite.  He was truly a UNIVERSAL HUMAN BEING, as Gandhi and others were…

I fully believe there are good people that believe in the BLM Movement, albeit unnecessary “As All Lives Matter”. However, I also believe this sub-group is a pox on goodness and the core principles of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., as he would have said: “I BELIEVE”:  We should be United not Segregated…; as such:  “All Lives Matter…”  As well as Black, PERIOD.  This maxim is a Given in Life Itself that is Sacrosanct… Any One who would deny this proposition would be a consecrated Racist… To isolate one group, in opposition to another – is not productive to the cause of “Right” or “Goodness”, albeit, however, well-intended, but I find it misguided, i.e., destructive to humanities unity.

Firmly, I  believe that such phrases are divisive, not inclusive, as – I repeat – it is a given that Black Lives Matter, Just as All Lives Matter.  We would do far better if we stopped, creating sub-groups, sparked by RACISM or SEXISM, and Lose this sad BLM and METOO rhetoric or Antifa as well, which I again, believe are corrosively regressive and misguided, no less than the “KKK” or any indecent and harmful organization.  The acceptance of such “Activist Groups” that have killed people is leading our young people and society in general in life down a path of mythical entitlement expectations often with vicious deadly and selfish intents.  No human, that I know, in my lifetime, would support such hatred, killing and looting, along with the destruction of personal and commercial livelihood via these newly formed activist hate groups…  They must Go to the archives of Misjustice and removed from the innocent harming of others…  End of Story…

It MUST STOP within a Civil Society.  I do not disagree that grievances are real in life, so have them adjudicated properly.  Looting, Destruction of  Businesses and Killing is of an unspeakable corruption, if not more so, that must be STOPPED.

Rather we would do far-far better to come together, as a unified Humanity.  Some of you with your distorted self-righteous indignation born of hate, please get a clue and begin to Love and Understand, rather than viciously Hate!

• In my opinion, its is unhealthy and dangerous to believe such oppressive racial or sexist symbolic rhetoric of these new pseudo-moral movements, activists or organizations.  Plainly I believe them to be harmful and thoughtless:  We have traveled many-many miles away from such horrible oppressions, i.e., the Burning of Tens of Thousands of Witches, the Holocaust, and Slavery driven by those out of economics and deeply by Africa, the Western and Ancient world as well as other unspeakable depravities.  We are all knowledgeable of them via Past Recorded History.  Need I Remind You – Any Further?  But to now replace former flagrant and unabashed fully acknowledged oppressions and depravities – with new self-serving social individual and organized group hatred organizations/movements/activists, seeking selfish gains is Unacceptable, and Must be Stopped [PERIOD]. You Review the realities for yourselves?   In other words our burgeoning  neo-oppression groups are viciously poor, tragically selfish by way of objectives and cruel for those of us who care in the Great Majority of Society or for those who genuinely care for true Humanity and Caring Outcomes…   Please in your deep conscious realm of human-caring, consider stopping such, hypocritical and ironically divisive, segregated, elitist and entitled rhetoric formed from these nothing but self-serving individuals and micro-groups. Please rather consider to engage in Goodness and Kindness, as currently you are only adding to humanities divisions – rather than as a hopefully More Decent Collective Humanity.  Your Selfishness is Pure, Your Righteousness is Hypocritical, if not just born of plain and simple Evil.  Please consider an honest review of your thinking!

These segregating phrases (Movements, Activists and Organizations) should be relegated to the reprobate of the cruel anachronisms that they are… . In other words: These newly poorly invented “Diversity” social sciences – twisted edicts – in Academia, the Media, and Politics of which have been for too long flowing into the Business realm, for which only sadly Divides society, rather than Uniting society and the general welfare and true Justice and Freedom of all Humanity.

• Diversity should UNITE, rather than DIVIDE.  But we are doing a very Poor Job of Achieving that Reality…  We are upon review, doing the opposite, by way of validating and enabling too many hateful sub-groups, even given those who believe in Goodness (within them).  Sad Indeed...NOTE: America, is a Wonderful Country (Best when we are Unified), but not a Perfect Country…  That is our endless goal to become… Those are Ideals Forever written in blood and the brilliance by our Founders.  Please review their merits, before we “Blow-Up or Radicalize the Country”, we have given so many hopes and life’s for…

Sadly to save of course for those: who will not allow dissent, free-will – freedom of speech and thought, and only believe in groupthink or singular Partisan Thought.  As only for them – all is just fine and well by micro-dividing our society into un-united-sub-groups, devoid of Balanced Thought; Only to leverage greater juvenile victimology and selfish power.  Condemning the Founding of American Values born of Free Speech, versus Censorship, Opinion or Suppression of Thought, which appears to be or profoundly new standard of Liberal Values.  Or even respectfully – not do degrade Liberal thought which has virtue, but of “Far-Leftist Values, to be more accurate…  Will We Ever Learn and Use our Humane-Adaptive-Common-Sense to Correct the Road this Great Country of America, has in Language Addressed via many Documents; but in Long-Suffering Blood-Letting to defend are struggling to be upheld, until this new day of the Politically Correct Class, which lacks all Integrity and will riot and kill in the name of Pure Unadulterated Selfishness.  END OF STORY…

Our new vocabulary terms in that last 20 years, of Implicit-Bias and the argument for microaggression are patently: Microscopic anecdotes and guises for self-serving enabled ingrates – not of any significant measurable value or facts to be appeased or massaged juggernauts with the current gross-coddling of such individuals, with any reasoned credence.

The baby talk of Safe-Spaces on University campuses imply that some spaces are “NOT” and the whole concept of “microaggression” and “Implicit Bias” is selfishly a fringe delusion of the most Implicit and Profound Degree, because their empirical data show them to be actually of a quantum or microscopic significance.  So here we are – once again – enabling New Words over-valued dispositions, and degrading to those with Contrary Integrity, who make an effort to work legitimately hard for goodness unrequited.

In other words, making a true effort to Grow Maturely in this life.  But as for now apparently, we must cower to maturity and thereby play the groupthink game or be subsequently and summarily dehumanized or even fired for standing up for adult and mature independence of a contrary thought.  This is Totalitarian Thought, not Freedom of Thought…

What has happened to the “Road Less Traveled”, hence Integrity and Independence of Thought?

These new social terms (Implicit Bias, and Microaggression at Academic levels), which have some fringe-level merit; Are clearly nothing more than fringe issues that are being turned into excessive-leverage to enable student activists, their mentors, and new movements to create a Reality beyond all “Common Sense, Decency and discarding Reason“.  Thereby removing responsibility for adulthood and the goal and Heart of Education, Sensibility and Knowledge, itself.

Enough is Enough…  Where are the true Educators and Leaders to Stand-Up for these Facts and Maturity rather than Fringe Based Beliefs, given undue credence.  As these new so-called thoughtful beliefs are robbing education’s character and are only enabling far less than success from students?  

This new system of so-called microaggression and Implicit-Bias, are Criminally Silencing Dissent.  It is a dis-grace, as academics are the battleground for dissent and thoughtful discussion, but if you are deemed a paltry micro-aggressor or an Implicit-Bias human being for which we all have some ownership of, we are to be Silenced?  If so, Integrity is in the grave forever…

This is unacceptable, by any American or Human Value of Decency…  It is what started all totalitarian governments, and we must never succumb to such destructive ignorance.

Do not let the inmates run the institution…!  Does anyone in Authority have a clue or the simple guts anymore to take on these simplistic philosophies or the juvenile misanthropes that abide them? Again, where are our Leaders anymore?  Unforntunely, currently gone to cowards and thoughtless ideologues – Everyone…

Heather, this new Social Science Fiction created by your so well defined: “Bureaucratic Industry of Diversity”  and those Socially-Graced Administrators, with Enormously Large Salaries that many of which have never taught a class in their lifetimes.  That such promiscuous diversity policies allowed to endure by such Administrators, with far too many Administrative Staffs are enabling the indoctrination of Students Ignorance.  This does not unite Us, but Divides Us, as a Humanity founded on Freedom…

While taking advantage of lowering standards in Education, at the peril of becoming a totalitarian society, fully conscripted to Group Thinking, Group Study, of which denies Individual Freedom and Liberty of Thought, Speech and Excellence, coupled with the fundamentals of true Education!

Truly: The Orwellian Reality is creeping in…

It is disappointing and sad.

I believe a general review, with statistics and common sense, would firmly throw out over half of the University Administrators Diversity leaders, if not all and their staffs, that are primarily nothing more than “social engineering indoctrinators” of whom are dis-uniting humanity and clearly enabling victimology, that you, Heather have so appropriately identified, coupled with miss-using and wasting multi-millions of dollars to support their cause nationwide, rather than using it for far more critical and fundamental education.

On a very Final: Personal Note, in my view derived from your thesis:  “The Diversity Delusion“.

“We the People” should be allowing Universities/Colleges to go back and do what they were intended to do: To teach Literature, Science, Math, History, Civics and the Arts, rather than use these enormously large sums of monies for wasteful  Social Administrators and their Cultural Indoctrination of Diversity Folly, and thus contributes for the most part to further Human Division (Ironically).  Enormous education funds are now diverted and dedicated to such Social Diversity Administrators, that do not advance Critical Thinking, they only Indoctrinate.  These funds should be allocated not to Social Administrators, but to Educators or the intended Educated.  In other words, we should be conversely redirecting monies for the hiring of appropriate, Academic Faculty,  thus enabling the Lowering of Tuitions and offer Financial Aid to more students, who could practically use these essential funds for the true Purpose and Promise of Education…

“HOW NOVEL AN IDEA”.

If this were to happen, we would have a more productive system, of fairness and improved education, rather than social indoctrination of the worse kind (Segregation and Personal Irresponsibly: by supporting monolithic thought/Groupthink, versus the battleground of ideas from thoughtful dissention, which is being far more denied in our new totalitarian one-minded society).

The status of Universities and Academia itself has been critically harmed by capitulating their true mandates – subjugated rather to ignorance – just as our Politicians, Corporations and the Media have done as well…
